Eines der Dinge, die mir Freude bereiten, ist sich Zeit zum Kochen f\u00fcr meine Familie, Freunde und f\u00fcr meine G\u00e4ste unseres Airbnb zu nehmen. So begann ich zu filmen, was ich koche und zeige meine Rezepte. Mehr und mehr Zuschauer schickten mir E-Mails oder hinterlie\u00dfen Kommentare, in denen sie fragten, ob ich nicht ein Kochbuch machen k\u00f6nnte. Um ehrlich zu sein, das war schon immer ein Traum von mir. Ich liebe es sch\u00f6ne Dinge zu erschaffen und daraufhin fing ich an, meine Rezepte zu sammeln und die Teller zu fotografieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Anf\u00e4nglich wollte ich nur eine Zusammenstellung der Rezepte, aber w\u00e4hrend der Arbeit am Buch, stellte ich fest, dass einige der Bilder, die ich von den Gerichten gemacht hatte, in mir ein sehr warmes Gef\u00fchl von \u201ecountry life\u201c weckten. Ich stellte f\u00fcr mich fest, dass ich \u00fcber das Buch eine imagin\u00e4re Reise nach Frankreich f\u00fchlen wollte. Ich wollte es, damit es mehr als nur eine Ansammlung von Rezepten ist und stattdessen sollte es<\/strong> ein Buch sein, welches dir ein gutes Gef\u00fchl vermittelt und dich mit aufs l\u00e4ndliche Frankreich nimmt<\/strong>. Das Projekt wurde aus diesem Grund gr\u00f6\u00dfer, ha ha!<\/p>\n\n\n\n That is worth a trip! You have also talked about your own book, that you have make reality. When was the idea of your cookbook born and what was your originally imagination?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I document my life on YouTube. One of the things I enjoy doing is taking time to cook for my family, friends and for the guests of our Airbnb. I started filming my cooking and sharing the recipes. More and more subscribers sent me emails or left comments asking if I wanted to make a cookbook. To be honest, this has always been a dream of mine. I love creating beautiful things so I started gathering my recipes and taking pictures of the plates with food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Initially I wanted just to collect the recipes, but as I was working on the book I realized that some of the pictures I had made of meals evoked a very warm \u201ccountry life\u201d feeling. I realized I wanted to feel the book like a virtual visit to France. I wanted it to be more than just a couple of recipes and instead to be<\/strong> a book that makes you feel good and transports you to the countryside of France<\/strong>. The project got a lot bigger because of this, haha!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ja, das trifft auf viele Autoren zu. Welche einzigartigen oder lustigen Erlebnisse sind dir w\u00e4hrend der Erstellung deines Kochbuches besonders in Erinnerung geblieben?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Eines Tages als ich an meinem Lieblingsort zum Mittagessen am Buch arbeitete, a\u00df ich ein k\u00f6stliches Gericht und einer der Kunden ging zum Chef, um nach dem Rezept zu fragen. Und ich dachte, warte mal, ich m\u00f6chte auch das Rezept. Deshalb kam mir die Idee andere Leute zu fragen, die meisten sind Profik\u00f6che, um ein Rezept im Buch zu pr\u00e4sentieren. Dies lies die Erstellung des Buches sich wie eine herzliche und spannende Mitproduktion anf\u00fchlen, die mir mehr Freude bereitete! Ich arbeitete auch mit einem Weinmacher, um die Arbeit eines Winzers das Jahr hindurch wiederzugeben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ich f\u00fchle mich so dankbar, dass viele andere die Begeisterung gef\u00fchlt haben, mich zu unterst\u00fctzen und zum Buch beizutragen und mir helfen, die Sch\u00f6nheit dieser Region und das Leben im l\u00e4ndlichen Frankreich zu zeigen.<\/strong> Andererseits lachen mein Mann und meine S\u00f6hne \u00fcber die Zeiten, wenn ich einen Essensteller fotografieren wollte und meine eigenen Rezepte kochen wollte. Ich bin bekannt als eine von den Menschen, die nicht dem Rezept folgen. Als ich auf meine eigene Art kochte, las ich nicht wirklich die Rezepte und ich begann nur aus meinem Kopf heraus zu kochen und meine Jungs platzten lachend heraus: \u201eDu bist so komisch, Mama, du kannst dich nicht einfach deinen EIGENEN Rezepten folgen!\u201c. Daher f\u00fchlen sich nun meine S\u00f6hne wohler, dass mein Kochbuch herauskommen wird, so dass ich meine eigenen Rezepte zur Hand habe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Yes, that hold true for many authors! What were your unique and funniest memories making the book?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n One day I was working on the book at my favorite lunch place. I was eating a delicious meal and one of the customers walked up to the chef to ask for the recipe. And I thought: wait, I want that recipe too! That\u2019s how I got the idea of asking other people – most are professional chefs – to share a recipe for the book. This made the process of creating this book feel like a warm and exciting co-creation which brought me even more joy! I also worked with a winemaker, sharing the work of the winemaker throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n I feel grateful so many others have felt the enthusiasm to support me and contribute to the book and help me show the beauty of this region and life in the French countryside.<\/strong> The other thing my husband and sons laugh about the times I wanted to photograph a dish and needed to cook my own recipes. I am known as one of those people that never follow the recipe. So as I was cooking my own, I didn\u2019t really read them and just started cooking it from the top of my head and my boys burst out laughing saying: \u201cYou\u2019re hilarious mom, you can\u2019t even follow your OWN recipes!\u201d. So now my sons feel it\u2019s good that my cookbook will come out, so I will always have my own recipes on hand!<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Das wird sicher lange noch in Erinnerung bleiben. Planst du schon ein weiteres Buch bzw. Kochbuch?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ich liebe diese Frage, denn: Ja! Ich habe so viele Ideen, die es nicht in dieses Buch geschafft haben, so dass ich hoffe, diese in einem zweiten Exemplar unter zu bringen.<\/strong> Und ich sammle Rezepte, die ich nicht in dieses Buch eingef\u00fcgt habe oder die ich gerade verwirkliche, so dass ich sie in einem zweiten Buch erg\u00e4nzen kann. Ich habe ganz spezielle Vorstellungen, wie ich es ausstatten m\u00f6chte, dass es \u00fcber die ganz eigene Kultur des Lebens in dieser Region von Frankreich, in Burgund sein wird. I have so many ideas that didn\u2019t make it to this first book that I am hoping to include in a second one.<\/strong> And I am gathering recipes that I didn\u2019t include in this book or I am developing at the moment so I can include them in a second book! I have some specific ideas how I want to include that are about the specific culture of living in this region of France, in Burgundy. But it\u2019s all still at the \u201cdreaming and imagining\u201d stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n I want to get this first book out and I am looking forward to my book launch party in Beaune on November 25. After that, I will give myself permission to slowly start thinking about the next project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Eine gute Idee dar\u00fcber nachzudenken, was man bereits erreicht hat und was als n\u00e4chstes ansteht. Wem empfiehlst du dein Kochbuch?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Jedem, der meine Liebe f\u00fcr das l\u00e4ndliche Frankreich teilt und das einfache Leben und wer gerne hausgemachte Mahlzeiten kochen m\u00f6chte, aber keine schwierigen Dinge mag. Meine Rezepte sind leicht und einfach. Ich sehe mein Buch als ein Inspirationsbuch, welches man hernehmen kann, wenn man einen dieser Tage hat, an denen man keine Idee hat, was man auf den Tisch bringen m\u00f6chte, und sucht nach jemandem, der sich um das Herausbringen f\u00fcr einen selbst gek\u00fcmmert hat! Man nimmt einfach ein Rezept aus dem Buch und man hat ein wohlgeordnetes Abendessen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meine Intention ist es nicht herausragende und spezielle Rezepte vorzustellen oder Dinge, mit denen man selbst nicht zurechtkommt. Meine Vision ist es, dich einzuladen so oft du magst hausgemachte Gerichte zu kochen und es von einer Pflicht in einen dankbaren Moment zu wandeln.<\/strong> Die Rezepte sind vegetarisch und eine sind vegan.<\/strong> Ich merke ebenfalls, dass dieses Buch so viele sch\u00f6ne Bilder der Weinberge, der verschlafenen franz\u00f6sischen D\u00f6rfer, zum Essen und der Natur hat, so dass es ein Coffee Table Book (Couchtischbuch) ist, welches man immer wieder nehmen kann, w\u00e4hrend man einen Kaffee genie\u00dft auf dem eigenen Sofa oder im eigenen Garten. Das ist mein vorrangiges Ziel. Es h\u00e4ngt auch vom eigenen Kaffeetisch genauso wie vom eigenen K\u00fcchenschrank!<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n A good idea to think about what you have already achieve and what will come next. Who do you recommend your cookbook?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To anyone who shares my love for the French countryside and simple life and who would like to cook home-cooked meals but doesn\u2019t want to complicate things. My recipes are easy and straightforward. I see my book as an inspiration book that you go to when you\u2019re having one of those days when you have no idea what to put on the table tonight and are looking for someone that has taken care of coming up with something for you! You simply pick a recipe from the book and you\u2019ve got dinner sorted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n My intention isn\u2019t to share exquisite and special recipes or things you couldn\u2019t have come up with yourself. My intention is to invite you to cook home-cooked meals as often as you can and turn this from a chore into a pleasurable moment. The recipes are vegetarian and some are vegan.<\/strong> I also feel this book has so many beautiful images of the vineyards, sleepy French villages, food and nature that it is a coffee table book that you can pick up again and again while sipping a coffee on your sofa or in your garden.
